Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience as a database administrator, demonstrating a deep understanding of database management and operations. Your expertise includes working with MongoDB and designing database structures that comply with security regulations and service requirements. You have experience using databases in cloud environments such as AWS and Azure, showcasing your ability to adapt to new technologies and challenges.

You possess strong automation skills, particularly in developing capabilities for effective database operations. Your familiarity with various open-source systems and tools enhances your ability to manage and optimize database systems effectively. You are proactive in ensuring compliance with security standards for sensitive data and managing database access and permissions.

Desirable

You have development skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go, which enable you to create necessary tools for database management. Your understanding of spatial data and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices are additional assets that set you apart.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and operation of stable cloud-based database services. You will design database structures based on service requirements and infrastructure security regulations, ensuring that all systems are reliable and secure. Your role will involve managing database access and permissions, as well as developing automation capabilities for effective operations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that database systems meet the needs of various stakeholders. Your expertise will guide the design and tuning of RDS, NoSQL, GraphDB, and OLAPDB systems, contributing to the overall performance and reliability of the database infrastructure. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and optimizing database performance, ensuring that systems operate efficiently in a multi-cloud environment.
