Job Description
Who you are
You have a solid background in backend engineering, with experience in building scalable services that handle large volumes of data. You understand how to turn complex data into actionable insights, and you are passionate about leveraging technology to improve user experiences. Your expertise in Python and Go allows you to create efficient and robust backend solutions that meet the needs of users and stakeholders alike.
You are familiar with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and understand how to deploy and manage applications in a cloud environment. Your experience with Kubernetes enables you to orchestrate containerized applications effectively, ensuring high availability and scalability. You have a strong grasp of microservices architecture, allowing you to design systems that are modular, maintainable, and easy to scale.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions. You are comfortable discussing technical concepts with non-technical stakeholders and can translate complex ideas into clear, actionable plans. You are proactive in identifying problems and enjoy solving engineering challenges at scale.
Desirable
Experience with data intelligence and reporting tools is a plus, as is familiarity with agile methodologies. You are open to learning new technologies and adapting to evolving project requirements. A background in SaaS platforms will help you understand the unique challenges and opportunities in this space.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be part of the Data Intelligence team, responsible for building backend services that transform data from our SaaS platform into valuable insights for our customers. You will design and implement microservices that are efficient, scalable, and maintainable, ensuring that they meet the high standards expected by our users.
You will collaborate with data analysts and product managers to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements. Your work will involve writing clean, efficient code and conducting thorough testing to ensure the reliability of the services you build. You will also participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to your peers and helping to maintain high code quality across the team.
As part of your responsibilities, you will monitor the performance of the services you develop, using metrics and logging to identify areas for improvement. You will be involved in troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise, ensuring that our services remain operational and performant.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall architecture of our systems, making recommendations for improvements and innovations that can enhance our data intelligence capabilities.
