You have a foundational understanding of international laws and regulations such as ISO 2700x, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS — you are eager to learn and grow in the field of information security compliance. Your experience includes writing internal policies and procedures, whether from scratch or adapting existing programs to meet new regulations. You possess strong organizational skills and excel in planning and time management, ensuring that compliance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

You may hold a degree or professional certification related to information security or compliance, which adds to your qualifications. You are detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to identifying compliance risks in new processes and systems, ensuring that Acronis maintains its commitment to security and compliance.

What you'll do

In this role, you will participate in various projects within the Security and Compliance team, ensuring that Acronis services and IT infrastructure comply with applicable laws and standards. You will maintain up-to-date policies and procedures that align with relevant regulations, assisting in both internal and external audit processes. Your responsibilities will include conducting vendor risk assessments and addressing client and regulatory due-diligence inquiries, which are crucial for maintaining trust and transparency in our operations.

You will assess compliance risks associated with new processes and systems, providing insights that help shape Acronis's compliance strategy. Your work will directly contribute to the company's mission of creating a #CyberFit future, protecting data, applications, and systems across various environments. You will collaborate with team members to ensure that compliance is integrated into all aspects of the business, fostering a culture of security awareness and accountability.
