You have experience building software from start to finish — you see limitations and novel problems as exciting challenges. You possess great communication skills and work well in a team, valuing code quality and the importance of committing high-quality code. Your background includes writing front-end web applications in JavaScript and developing highly-scalable back-end applications. Familiarity with deploying and operating software in the cloud is essential, and experience with databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL is a plus. You are also comfortable with writing microservices in Go, which will enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

As a Software Engineer at Admiral, you will be an important member of a small and productive team, taking responsibility for backend services that serve and support billions of pageviews. You will commit, review, and test high-quality code while implementing new UI features, backend microservices, and internal tooling. Your role will involve providing input and collaborating on the product roadmap and future functionality, helping to improve consumer choice and publisher sustainability across the internet. You will work closely with other engineers to ensure that the systems you build are robust and maintainable, contributing to a balanced content ecosystem on the web.
