What you'll do

As a Staff Engineer at Adyen, you will lead cross-team projects to build the infrastructure that powers all of Adyen’s lending and credit financial products. This includes overseeing the entire lifecycle of lending products, from initial underwriting and credit scoring to loan servicing and portfolio performance optimization. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ensure that the systems you build are robust, scalable, and user-friendly.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that enhance the customer experience when accessing capital. Your role will involve analyzing existing systems, identifying areas for improvement, and developing innovative solutions that align with Adyen's mission to provide a frictionless experience for merchants. You will also mentor junior engineers, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
