You have a strong background in embedded systems development, particularly with C++ — your experience includes designing and implementing software for hardware platforms, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. You are comfortable working on complex architectures and have a keen understanding of the entire software development lifecycle, from initial design to production deployment.

Your expertise in embedded Linux is complemented by a solid understanding of hardware-software integration — you know how to optimize software for specific hardware constraints and have experience with debugging and testing embedded systems. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

You are a self-starter who takes initiative in your projects — you enjoy tackling challenges head-on and are always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you can think critically about design decisions and their implications on system performance.

Desirable

Experience with LiDAR technology or similar sensing systems would be a plus — you understand the unique challenges associated with real-time data processing and sensor integration. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing software for Aeva's cutting-edge LiDAR sensors — your work will directly contribute to the advancement of autonomous systems across various applications, including automated driving and industrial robotics. You will collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components, focusing on performance optimization and reliability.

You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and design to implementation and testing — your contributions will help shape the future of perception technology. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and debugging complex systems, ensuring that the final product meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
