Who you are

You are a technically strong and customer-focused Field Applications Engineer with experience in optical sensors, LiDAR, or displacement sensing. You thrive in roles that require you to be the technical interface between customers and engineering teams, ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Your curiosity about customer applications drives you to understand their needs deeply, and you are comfortable navigating complex systems. You are excited to help customers succeed with cutting-edge sensing technologies, and you possess strong problem-solving skills that allow you to tackle application challenges effectively.

Desirable

Experience in automated driving, industrial robotics, consumer electronics, or consumer health is a plus. Familiarity with silicon photonics and the integration of LiDAR components will set you apart. You have a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies, and you are eager to contribute to innovative projects that push the boundaries of perception technology.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting product evaluations and providing technical guidance to customers as they integrate Aeva's groundbreaking sensing and perception technology. You will work closely with engineering teams to solve complex application challenges, ensuring that customers have the resources and knowledge they need to succeed. Your role will involve conducting technical presentations and demonstrations, showcasing the capabilities of Aeva's 4D LiDAR sensors, which uniquely detect instant velocity in addition to 3D position.

You will also gather customer feedback and relay it to the engineering teams, helping to shape future product developments. Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively will be crucial in building strong relationships with customers and ensuring their satisfaction with Aeva's products. You will play a key role in driving the adoption of Aeva's technology across various applications, from automated driving to industrial robotics.
