What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the photonics layout and design automation efforts at Aeva, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge sensing solutions. You will oversee the design process, ensuring that all components are integrated seamlessly into the final product. Your responsibilities will include defining project scopes, setting timelines, and managing resources to achieve project goals.

You will collaborate with engineers and researchers to innovate and refine design automation processes, contributing to the development of Aeva's 4D LiDAR sensors. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the team towards achieving technical milestones and delivering high-quality products that meet market demands.

Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, providing guidance on best practices in photonic design and automation. You will also play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to share ideas and explore new technologies that can enhance Aeva's offerings.
