You are a computer science or related major who is eager to learn and make a real-world impact in the field of security. You have a passion for solving security challenges and are excited about the opportunity to work with a team of skilled individuals who share your enthusiasm for redefining security in the fintech space. You are looking for an internship that will allow you to grow your engineering skills while contributing to meaningful projects that enhance security controls against information security threats.
What you'll do
As a Security Intern at Affirm, you will primarily support the Product Security Engineering and Architecture (PSEA) team. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the enhancement of Affirm's security posture by working on various projects that protect the brand, employees, infrastructure, and intellectual property. You will have the opportunity to learn about preventive, detective, and responsive security controls while collaborating with a team-first mindset. This internship will kick off in May/June 2026, and you will work out of the San Francisco office, engaging in a hybrid work environment that fosters both in-person collaboration and remote flexibility.
