Your background includes hands-on experience with Kubernetes and OpenStack, allowing you to understand the complexities of managing a private cloud environment.

You possess strong leadership skills and a passion for mentoring engineers — you thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Your technical expertise in cloud computing and infrastructure management enables you to guide your team effectively through challenges and opportunities.

You are adept at cross-functional collaboration, working closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables — your communication skills allow you to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring everyone is on the same page.

Desirable

Experience with bare metal servers and large-scale Kubernetes clusters is a plus — familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools will help you streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability.

What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for the Infrastructure Platform team, you will lead the efforts to scale and evolve Agoda's compute platform — your responsibilities will include overseeing the management of over 800k cores across hundreds of Kubernetes clusters and OpenStack virtual machines. You will work closely with your team to implement best practices in infrastructure management, ensuring high availability and performance of services.

You will be responsible for setting the technical direction of the team, driving initiatives that enhance system capabilities and operational efficiency — your leadership will be crucial in navigating the complexities of cloud infrastructure and ensuring that the team is equipped to handle the demands of a rapidly evolving business landscape.
