Overview
Agoda is hiring a Tax Data & Technology Specialist to analyze and implement global digital platform tax reporting regimes. You'll work closely with various teams to navigate the evolving tax landscape for digital services. This position is based in Bangkok and requires collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in tax regulations and technology, ideally with experience in digital services. You understand the complexities of global tax reporting frameworks and are comfortable working with data and technology to implement solutions. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Tech, and Legal, sets you apart. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for analyzing data to drive compliance and efficiency in tax reporting processes.
Desirable
Experience with EU’s DAC7 and similar data reporting frameworks is a plus. Familiarity with tax regulations in various countries such as Australia, Canada, and China will enhance your effectiveness in this role. You are proactive in staying updated with the evolving tax landscape and are eager to contribute to innovative solutions that bridge technology and tax compliance.
What you'll do
As a Tax Data & Technology Specialist, you will own the end-to-end analysis and implementation of global digital platform tax reporting regimes. This includes working closely with the Tax Data & Technology Associate Director and the broader Finance team to ensure compliance with emerging tax regulations. You will collaborate with Product, Tech, Supply, Legal, and Senior Leadership teams to develop and implement strategies that address the evolving tax landscape for digital services. Your role will involve analyzing data reporting requirements and ensuring that Agoda meets its obligations across various jurisdictions.
