Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, particularly in managing large-scale IT infrastructure. Your expertise includes working with cloud technologies and you are comfortable navigating complex systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

You possess strong knowledge of Kubernetes and OpenStack, having deployed and managed applications in these environments. Your familiarity with Linux systems allows you to troubleshoot and optimize server performance effectively.

You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys working in a collaborative environment. You thrive on challenges and are eager to contribute to a team that supports a wide range of technology stacks and services.

Desirable

Experience with Docker and container orchestration is a plus, as is familiarity with data platforms capable of handling high throughput. You are also open to learning new technologies and adapting to the evolving needs of the business.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing Agoda's IT infrastructure, which includes over 25,000 server instances. You will work closely with the IT Infrastructure team to support various products and services, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance system performance and reliability. Your role will involve monitoring system health, troubleshooting issues, and implementing best practices for system management.

You will also have the opportunity to work with sophisticated Kubernetes-based compute engines and contribute to one of the largest OpenStack private clouds in Asia. Your contributions will directly impact Agoda's ability to deliver exceptional services to customers worldwide.
