Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in machine learning and data science, with a strong background in developing and deploying machine learning models. Your expertise in Python and frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch allows you to build robust solutions that improve user experiences. You are skilled in data analysis and can leverage both structured and unstructured data to inform your models. You have a collaborative mindset and enjoy working with cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders across technology, product, and design to deliver impactful AI features. You are passionate about using AI to enhance user interactions and are eager to drive innovation within the product.
Desirable
Experience with large-scale data processing and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP would be advantageous. Knowledge of A/B testing and user experience design principles can further enhance your contributions to the team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead efforts to improve the intelligence of Airbnb's products by developing state-of-the-art machine learning models. You will work closely with product and design teams to identify opportunities for AI integration that enhance the Guest and Host experience. Your day-to-day will involve prototyping, evaluating, and implementing machine learning models, ensuring they are aligned with business goals and user needs. You will also be responsible for analyzing data to continuously improve model performance and drive insights that inform product decisions. Collaboration is key, as you will partner with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and integration of AI features into the Airbnb platform.

Airbnb provides a competitive salary range of $244,000—$305,000 USD, along with potential bonuses and equity options.
