You are hands-on and enjoy mentoring others, elevating their skills while delivering pixel-perfect designs that express emotion through motion and interaction.

You have a proven track record of building scalable design systems and governing them through clear documentation and alignment with development teams. Your expertise in tools like Figma allows you to create and iterate on designs efficiently, ensuring that the final product is not only visually appealing but also functional and user-friendly. You are committed to accessibility and understand the importance of WCAG compliance in your designs.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the UI vision for AKQA's digital experiences, setting the standard for quality and innovation. You will collaborate closely with UX designers, strategists, and technologists to create brand-led native mobile experiences that are both beautiful and effective. Your responsibilities will include defining interaction and motion intent, prototyping key user journeys, and ensuring that all designs align with the brand's strategy and user needs. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining design systems that adhere to Atomic principles, ensuring that your designs are scalable and consistent across platforms.

You will guide teams through the complexities of design, helping them navigate challenges and ensuring that the final products meet the high standards you set. Your leadership will foster a culture of creativity and collaboration, allowing your team to thrive in an innovative environment.
