Overview

AKQA is seeking a Project Manager to oversee project delivery and governance, ensuring effective collaboration between creative and technical teams. You'll utilize tools like Jira and Asana to manage project planning and execution. This role requires strong organizational skills and experience in managing creative marketing campaigns or web development projects.

Job Description

Who you are

You are a highly organized and proactive Project Manager with a knack for acting as the linchpin between creative, technical, and client teams. With a background in structuring and delivering creative marketing campaigns, mobile app builds, or large-scale web builds, you understand the intricacies of project delivery and governance. You bring order to creative chaos while ensuring technical feasibility, timely delivery, and budget management.

You have experience in project planning and scoping, defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and technical specifications. You create comprehensive project plans that include detailed timelines, milestones, and resource allocation using tools like Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project. Your ability to coordinate between creative teams and technical teams ensures that all creative assets are seamlessly integrated into technical deliverables.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering high-impact projects that range from traditional and digital marketing campaigns to branding initiatives and software launches. You will act as the primary liaison between creative teams, including designers and copywriters, and technical teams, such as developers and engineers. Your resource and budget management skills will be crucial as you allocate human, financial, and technical resources effectively.

You will ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget, while also maximizing the return on investment for clients. Your proactive approach will help you identify potential risks and challenges early on, allowing you to implement solutions that keep projects on track. You will also provide team members with the tools, support, and training essential to delivering the most effective results possible.
