What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Alluxio, you will tackle high-impact systems problems that are critical to the performance of our data orchestration platform. You will optimize metadata management and caching strategies across thousands of nodes, ensuring efficient data access and retrieval. Your role will involve designing and implementing concurrent, fault-tolerant services that can handle the complexities of multi-region and multi-cloud environments.

You will also be responsible for evolving Alluxio's storage abstraction and scheduling layer, enabling support for large-scale AI and ML data pipelines. Collaborating with internal product teams, you will push the boundaries of distributed I/O performance, ensuring that our technology meets the demands of modern AI workloads.
