What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Altruist, you will play a crucial role in developing the AI engine for our wealth management platform. You will design and implement backend services that connect to users' systems of record, ensuring seamless data integration and management. Your work will involve parsing, extracting, and storing both structured and unstructured information, enabling our AI assistant to deliver valuable insights to financial advisors.

You will collaborate closely with product managers and data scientists to define the technical requirements and architecture of the AI engine. Your expertise will guide the team in making informed decisions about technology choices and implementation strategies. You will also participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
