Who you are
You are a current student graduating between October 2026 and September 2027, eager to gain practical experience in accounting. You thrive in collaborative environments and possess strong communication skills, particularly in identifying and addressing controllership risks. You have a solid understanding of financial statements and are committed to continuous process improvement.
You are looking for an internship that offers exposure to cross-functional stakeholders in accounting, finance, tax, technology, and operations. You are ready to engage in hands-on activities that support daily accounting operations and contribute to new business initiatives.
What you'll do
As an Accounting Intern at Amazon, you will support the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and management reporting for Amazon's legal entities. You will work closely with finance operations peers and central accounting teams to resolve issues identified during accounting reconciliations, ensuring that action plans are followed through to resolution. You will also participate in projects aimed at enhancing the team's overall efficiency, providing you with valuable insights into the accounting field.
What we offer
This internship will last for 24 weeks, starting from May or June 2026, and requires a commitment of 3-5 days per week.
