You are a recent graduate or a student pursuing a master's or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field, graduating between October 2026 and July 2027. You are eager to tackle complex technical challenges and contribute to innovative solutions that enhance user experiences. You have experience in designing machine learning experiments and conducting statistical analyses, showcasing your ability to derive insights from data. Your programming skills include proficiency in Java, C++, and Python, allowing you to implement algorithms effectively. You have a strong technical vision and can engage in deep discussions with team members about concepts and algorithms, providing appropriate solutions to application problems. Your critical thinking skills enable you to communicate your technical solutions clearly, both verbally and in writing.

What you'll do
As an Applied Scientist Intern at Amazon, you will join the International Technology search team, focusing on enhancing Amazon's product search services. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop machine learning models that leverage terabytes of product and traffic data. You will integrate these models into the search engine to provide better services to customers, ensuring a seamless experience when they search for products.
