What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the research and development of complex sensing systems that empower robots to perceive their surroundings accurately. You will drive architecture decisions for next-generation robotics platforms, ensuring that they are capable of operating safely alongside humans in dynamic environments. Your responsibilities will include building and leading teams focused on hardware, firmware, and embedded systems, as well as driving technical roadmaps that align with Amazon's vision for automation.
You will explore and guide the exploration of novel sensing modalities, refining existing technologies to enhance robot-based perception, safety, and navigation. Your work will involve formulating a robust sensing architecture and leading experimentation and prototyping efforts. What we offer
Amazon provides a competitive salary range of $198,900.00 - $269,000.00 annually, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
