What you'll do

As the Principal Applied Scientist, you will lead a team of over 50 builders in pioneering a new generation of agentic AI applications for Amazon advertisers. You will define the science roadmap for developing agentic experiences that provide recommendations and guidance to over 1.6 million Sponsored Products and Brand advertisers across multiple channels. Your role will involve working at the forefront of applied AI, developing methods for fine-tuning and reinforcement learning, while also creating evaluation frameworks that ensure the safety and reliability of these technologies.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to innovate and enhance the advertising lifecycle, from ad creation and optimization to performance analysis and customer insights. Your leadership will be crucial in shaping the future of advertising at Amazon, as you work to bridge the gap between human creativity and artificial intelligence. You will also be responsible for mentoring team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
