You have a strong background in applied science with a focus on analytics and AI, ideally with 5+ years of experience in developing and optimizing machine learning models. Your expertise in SQL allows you to efficiently retrieve and analyze data, ensuring accuracy and trustworthiness in insights generated from large datasets. You are well-versed in natural language processing techniques, including intent classification and named entity recognition, which are crucial for building conversational AI systems. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineers and product managers to create innovative solutions that enhance user experiences. You possess a deep understanding of data engineering workflows, enabling you to design effective conversational experiences that meet user needs. Your problem-solving skills are complemented by your ability to invent new techniques for metrics retrieval, ensuring continuous improvement in the solutions you develop.

Experience with generative AI technologies is a plus, as is familiarity with feedback loops for model evaluation and improvement. What you'll do
In this role, you will be instrumental in building SpektrBot, a conversational AI assistant designed to support data engineers and analysts in their workflows. You will research, design, and develop NLP/NLU models that enable the bot to understand user requests and engage in natural conversations. Your responsibilities will include studying data engineering and analytics workflows to ensure that the conversational experiences you design are intuitive and effective. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize these models, ensuring they meet the needs of users while driving efficiency in data retrieval processes. You will also create feedback loops that allow the AI to evaluate its performance and improve over time, ensuring that the insights generated are both accurate and actionable. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness of Amazon's advertising solutions, helping teams make sense of the vast amounts of data generated daily.
