You have a strong background in applied science and engineering, with a focus on optimization and machine learning. You possess a robust publication record in top-tier conferences and journals, showcasing your expertise in the field. You enjoy mentoring junior scientists and coordinating cross-functional projects, helping to foster a collaborative team atmosphere.

Your technical expertise includes proficiency in Python and AWS, as well as a deep understanding of optimization techniques and data analysis. You are comfortable translating complex business problems into mathematical frameworks, enabling you to develop scalable solutions that address significant challenges within the organization. You are passionate about leveraging frontier science to drive innovation and improve processes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the development of large-scale optimization systems that tackle complex supply chain problems. You will collaborate with various teams within Amazon to identify and solve big bet issues, ensuring that your solutions are scalable and effective. Your responsibilities will include conducting research, building models, and deploying software that enhances operational efficiency.
