Who you are

You have 3+ years of experience building machine learning models for business applications — you've successfully applied modern machine learning methods to solve key business questions and drive strategic recommendations. Your strong quantitative modeling skills enable you to frame decision-making problems effectively, particularly in the context of marketing spends across channels.

You hold a PhD or a Master's degree with 6+ years of applied research experience — your academic background complements your practical skills, allowing you to navigate complex data environments with ease. You are comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in fast-paced settings, demonstrating strong attention to detail in your work.

Your programming skills in languages such as Java, C++, and Python are well-honed — you can write efficient code and understand the intricacies of various programming paradigms. You are entrepreneurial and enjoy collaborating with business leaders to bring your models into production, ensuring that your insights translate into actionable strategies.

What you'll do

In this role, you will leverage your knowledge of statistics and optimization to predict future customer behavior and business conditions — your work will directly impact Amazon's marketing initiatives across various channels and advertising formats.
