Job Description

Who you are

You possess strong attention to detail and are comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to collaborate with diverse groups and cross-functional teams enables you to tackle complex business problems effectively.

What you'll do

As an Applied Science Intern at Amazon, you will own the design and development of end-to-end systems that support Amazon Science — this includes creating technical roadmaps and driving production-level projects. You will work closely with Amazon scientists and other interns to develop solutions that can be deployed into production, contributing to the company's mission of scientific innovation.

Your role will involve experimenting with various machine learning models and algorithms to address real-world problems — you will have the opportunity to analyze large datasets and implement systems that can lead to impactful results. Collaboration is key, as you will engage with cross-functional teams to ensure that your solutions align with business objectives and customer needs.

You will also participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of new ideas that can enhance Amazon's scientific capabilities — your insights will help shape the future of technology at Amazon.
