Desirable

Experience with algorithms and model design is a plus, as is familiarity with optimization techniques and operations research. If you have worked on projects involving robotics or quantum computing, we encourage you to highlight those experiences in your application.

What you'll do

As an Applied Scientist Intern at Amazon, you will take ownership of the design and development of end-to-end systems that address never-before-solved problems. You will collaborate closely with Amazon scientists and fellow interns to create innovative solutions and deploy them into production. Your responsibilities will include writing technical white papers, creating project roadmaps, and driving production-level projects that support the Amazon Science community. You will have the opportunity to design new algorithms and models while experiencing Amazon's customer-focused culture.
