You have a strong background in supply chain management and are passionate about problem-solving through teamwork. Your experience includes managing supplier relationships and ensuring timely material delivery, which is crucial for supporting a global fulfillment network.
You understand the importance of data and metrics in supply chain operations and are skilled at using these tools to mitigate supply risks and address constraints. You have a proven track record of managing supplier performance and executing purchase orders efficiently. Your ability to proactively address risks and implement robust vendor management frameworks sets you apart as a leader in this field.
Desirable
Experience in robotics or technology procurement is a plus, as is familiarity with performance management frameworks. You are comfortable navigating complex supply chain challenges and have a knack for building strong relationships with suppliers to ensure they meet delivery, quality, and cost targets.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage the timely and efficient delivery of materials to Amazon Robotics sites, ensuring that supply chain constraints are addressed proactively. You will be responsible for supplier performance management, which includes monitoring delivery schedules, quality assurance, and cost management. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams across Amazon to ensure that the right materials are sourced and delivered at the right time.
You will drive operational excellence by implementing performance frameworks that hold suppliers accountable and ensure they meet established targets. This includes conducting regular reviews of supplier performance and addressing any issues that arise in a timely manner. You will also play a key role in escalating issues when necessary and working with suppliers to find solutions that benefit both parties.
Your work will directly impact the efficiency of the Robotics Supply Chain, and you will be expected to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. You will leverage data and metrics to inform your decisions and drive improvements in supplier performance and material delivery processes.
