Who you are

You have 3+ years of experience in retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting, demonstrating a strong ability to negotiate and deliver results. Your analytical skills are top-notch, and you are comfortable managing large data sets to drive performance and process improvements. You possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, and you have a solid understanding of financial analysis and P&L ownership. Your problem-solving abilities shine when working around constraints, and you have a proven track record of managing projects with strong ownership and persistence.

You are adept at working with senior stakeholders across borders, both internally and externally, and you thrive in environments that require independent, data-driven decision-making. Your communication skills are excellent, allowing you to articulate your ideas clearly and effectively. You are comfortable with ambiguity and can think big while driving speed in experimentation. You are passionate about serving customers and making Amazon a preferred partner for Lawn and Garden brands.

What you'll do

As a Category Manager, you will own and drive the scale-up of categories and critical customer-focused initiatives within the Lawn and Garden team. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that Amazon meets its goals in this space. Your responsibilities will include managing vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion strategies, inventory management, and product development. You will utilize your analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions that enhance category performance.

You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that align with customer needs and market trends. Your role will involve continuous experimentation and iteration to improve processes and outcomes. You will also be expected to lead projects that require cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that all teams are aligned and working towards common objectives.
