Overview

Amazon is hiring a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect to lead cloud implementation projects and provide architecture guidance. You'll work with AWS services to help customers accelerate their cloud adoption journey. This role requires broad cloud technical skills and experience in enterprise IT.

Job Description

Who you are

You have extensive experience in leading and building successful cloud implementation projects in an enterprise setting — your broad cloud technical skills span all aspects of Enterprise IT and Cloud at all layers of the stack. You are passionate about helping customers and partners accelerate their cloud adoption journey, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can share your expertise.

You possess a deep understanding of security and compliance, performance and scale, availability and manageability issues — your ability to advise customers on migrating existing systems and building new systems using the full range of AWS services sets you apart. You are also skilled in non-technical change management, guiding organizations through policies, processes, and people changes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will collaborate with AWS Professional Services consultants to deliver IT infrastructure and application architecture guidance — you will lead proof-of-concept projects and perform enterprise portfolio assessments to ensure best practices are followed. Your responsibilities will include reviewing operational best practices and conducting skills transfer workshops to empower teams.

You will work closely with customers and partners to address their unique challenges, ensuring they achieve the best results from their cloud implementations. Your role will involve advising on the migration of existing systems and the development of new systems, leveraging the full capabilities of AWS services to meet customer needs.
