Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and experience in workplace health and safety (WHS) related fields β€” your background equips you to identify and drive improvements in safety protocols effectively. You are an enthusiastic individual who is customer-centric and understands the importance of keeping team members safe and motivated. Your hands-on approach and innovative mindset allow you to engage with operational stakeholders and implement WHS programs successfully.

You are proficient in using Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in a professional context β€” these skills enable you to maintain accurate WHS systems and documentation. You have a strong understanding of local and EU legislation regarding health and safety, ensuring compliance in all activities. Your ability to coordinate and support the WHS team will be crucial in achieving safety performance goals.

What you'll do

In this role, you will assist with the delivery of safety performance and monitoring, aligning with personnel, team, and functional goals. You will support the implementation of WHS programs within Fulfilment Centre Operations, conducting key risk assessment activities to identify potential hazards. Your responsibilities will include driving compliance with local and EU legislation, ensuring that all WHS systems are accurate and up-to-date with completed incident reports and supporting documentation.

You will work closely with the WHS Manager to construct incident prevention programs, leveraging your expertise to enhance safety measures. Engaging with operational and support function stakeholders will be essential as you drive improvements in safety practices. Your proactive approach will contribute to creating a safe and fulfilling work environment for all team members.
