Who you are
You are an experienced Data Center Technician with a strong motivation to support AWS deployments in various environments. You have a solid understanding of AWS products and services, and you are eager to maintain and operate cloud infrastructure across multiple locations. Your technical skills are complemented by your ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of engineers and specialists.
You thrive in challenging environments and are adept at troubleshooting complex issues that arise in data centers. Your experience includes working with servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment, ensuring that customers have continual access to the services they rely on. You are committed to delivering high standards for safety and operational excellence.
What you'll do
As a Global Field Ops Technician, you will be responsible for installing and supporting AWS deployments in non-traditional environments. You will maintain and operate AWS infrastructure, ensuring that all systems are running smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve collaborating with software, hardware, and network engineers to address operational challenges and improve service delivery.
You will be part of a team that supports AWS data centers and the associated infrastructure, tackling the most challenging problems in cloud computing. Your contributions will help ensure that AWS customers receive the best possible support and experience, regardless of their location. You will also have the opportunity to work on innovative solutions that enhance the hybrid experience for customers.
