Who you are

You have at least one year of experience in training or development, regardless of industry. You understand the importance of operational improvements and have a basic proficiency in Excel, including arithmetic operations and functions like SUM and Pivot. You possess a valid driver's license in Japan, which is essential for understanding traffic conditions and safety, even though driving duties are not part of the role. Your business-level Japanese language skills enable you to communicate effectively in a diverse workplace. You have experience in delivery or transportation operations and are comfortable conducting training sessions for both individuals and groups. You are adept at using terminal devices and are open to giving and receiving feedback. You are committed to contributing to an inclusive culture and enjoy working in diverse teams.

What you'll do

As a Driver On-boarding Assistant, you will work closely with the managers at delivery stations and the talent development department to coordinate, implement, measure, and evaluate training-related activities. You will support standard operating procedures and safety programs, ensuring that the quality of guidance provided to drivers at the delivery station meets Amazon's high standards. You will conduct onboarding guidance for new drivers, both online and in-person, which includes preparing and executing online training systems. Your role may require you to work shifts, including potential night shifts based on operational needs, and you may also be required to travel domestically as needed. Your contributions will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the quality of delivery services, ensuring that various products are delivered to the right locations on time.
