What you'll do

As a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician, you will be responsible for executing planned preventative maintenance and performing daily corrective work on all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center. You will provide emergency response to critical facility events, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining operational excellence. You will collaborate closely with the Data Center Chief Engineer and third-party vendors to ensure seamless facility operations. Your role will involve monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to enhance the reliability of data center operations. You will also participate in training sessions to develop your technical skills and knowledge of AWS infrastructure. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of the data center and the satisfaction of AWS customers.
