You possess a foundational understanding of critical systems such as power distribution equipment, generators, and cooling systems. Your ability to operate independently with limited direct management will be key in this role. You are a problem solver who enjoys tackling challenges and learning from experienced colleagues. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited to contribute to the safety and security of AWS infrastructure.

What you'll do

In this role, you will act as an escalation point for all facilities-related issues, ensuring that operations run smoothly. You will oversee the management of routine and emergency services on various critical systems, including switchgear, UPS systems, and chillers. Your responsibilities will include performing root cause analysis of equipment failures and driving projects with moderate complexity. You will also provide training and guidance to fellow Engineering Operations Technicians, helping to foster a knowledgeable and skilled team.
