You are ready to participate in an on-call rotation, ensuring that data center operations run smoothly at all times. You understand the importance of safety and security in a data center environment and are committed to upholding the highest standards. You are open to feedback and continuously seek to improve your skills and knowledge in the field.

What you'll do

As a Data Center Technician at Amazon, you will play a critical role in maintaining the heartbeat of AWS's global infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include performing in-depth hardware and network diagnostics, followed by physical repairs to ensure that all systems are operational. You will work closely with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, as well as supply chain specialists and operations managers. Your role will require you to troubleshoot issues effectively and efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring that our customers have continual access to the services they rely on. You will also participate in an on-call rotation, responding to incidents and emergencies as they arise. Your contributions will help maintain the highest standards for safety and security within the data center, and you will be encouraged to share bold ideas that can improve operations.
