What you'll do
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining the operations of AWS data centers. Your responsibilities will include performing in-depth hardware and network diagnostics, followed by physical repairs to ensure that all systems are functioning optimally. You will collaborate with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, as well as supply chain specialists and operations managers, to tackle the most challenging problems in the cloud infrastructure space. You will also participate in an on-call rotation, responding to incidents and ensuring that our customers have continual access to the services they rely on.
You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that support AWS data centers. Your role will require you to be proactive in identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to prevent downtime. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the data center, ensuring that we deliver the highest standards of service to our customers.
