What you'll do
As a Data Center Technician at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the heartbeat of the world's most innovative technology platform. Your responsibilities will include installing equipment, performing hardware and network repairs, and innovating solutions to ensure seamless data center operations. You will collaborate with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, as well as supply chain specialists and operations managers, to deliver the highest standards for safety and security.
You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues that arise within the data center and implementing effective solutions to maintain operational efficiency. Your role will require you to document processes and solutions, ensuring that knowledge is shared across the team. You will also be involved in maintaining the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that support AWS data centers, ensuring that customers have continual access to the services they rely on.
What we offer
Amazon offers a competitive starting pay for this position, which ranges from $27.00 to $47.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
