What you'll do
As a Data Center Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the heartbeat of AWS's global cloud infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include performing in-depth hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repairs to ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally. You will collaborate with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers to tackle the most challenging problems in data center operations.
You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment, ensuring that our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Your role will also involve participating in an on-call rotation, where you will respond to incidents and work to resolve issues promptly. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS's global infrastructure, making a significant impact on the services we provide.
