You have a strong background in data engineering, with experience in building and managing data systems that support high-throughput applications. Your expertise in AWS services such as EC2, RDS, Redshift, Kinesis, EMR, and Lambda allows you to effectively manage cloud resources and optimize data workflows. You possess a solid understanding of machine learning and natural language processing, which enables you to contribute to innovative solutions for content moderation. Your ability to collaborate with data scientists and business intelligence engineers ensures that you deliver high-quality data architecture and pipelines that meet business needs.
You are skilled in real-time data processing and have a proven track record of developing end-to-end data platforms. Your strategic thinking and technical excellence empower you to architect complex systems that drive innovation in technology. You are comfortable interfacing with various technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources, ensuring that data is accessible and actionable for stakeholders. What you'll do
As a Data Engineer on the Alexa Sensitive Content Intelligence team, you will play a crucial role in architecting and building data systems that power our content moderation data warehouse and reporting pipeline. You will contribute to the design and implementation of next-generation business intelligence solutions, focusing on streaming data applications that enhance our ability to identify and manage sensitive content. Your work will involve managing AWS resources, ensuring that our data infrastructure is robust and scalable.
You will collaborate closely with data scientists and business intelligence engineers to deliver high-quality data architecture and pipelines. This collaboration will involve interfacing with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of sources, ensuring that our data is accurate and readily available for analysis. You will continually seek to improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers.
Your contributions will be instrumental in building the next generation of data-driven tools that highlight and protect against bad content being exposed to customers on Amazon's Devices, including Alexa. You will leverage your technical expertise and business acumen to transform complex data into actionable insights that drive our content moderation efforts.
