Overview

Amazon is hiring a Mid-Level Data Engineer for the Digital Acceleration team to develop foundational analytical datasets and data pipelines. Who you are

You have a strong background in data engineering with expertise in ETL processes, data modeling, and database architecture — you've successfully designed and implemented data pipelines that support analytics and business intelligence initiatives. Your technical skills include working with AWS services such as Redshift, Kinesis, and EMR, allowing you to build scalable data solutions that meet the needs of digital businesses.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including software developers, business intelligence engineers, and product managers — you understand the importance of translating complex data insights into actionable strategies that drive product decisions. Your analytical mindset helps you identify opportunities for improving data quality, availability, and compliance, ensuring that the data infrastructure supports business objectives.
