Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in data engineering with experience in designing and managing large-scale data warehouse solutions. Your expertise includes working with various platforms such as RDBMS and cloud technologies, allowing you to create efficient data architectures that meet enterprise needs. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders to define key business questions and develop data sets that provide actionable insights. You are passionate about working with massive data sets and enjoy the challenge of integrating diverse data sources to drive business improvements.
You have hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly Redshift, and are familiar with data pipeline development and management. Your technical skills include proficiency in SQL and other data manipulation languages, which you use to analyze and transform data into meaningful information. You thrive in environments where you can leverage your analytical skills to solve complex problems and improve operational efficiency.
Desirable
Experience with big data technologies and frameworks such as Apache Spark or Hadoop would be a plus. Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques can enhance your ability to present data-driven insights to stakeholders. A background in machine learning or data science concepts may also be beneficial as you work to develop predictive models based on the data you manage.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines that support Amazon's fulfillment operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and develop solutions that enhance data accessibility and usability.
