Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in data science or business intelligence, with a strong focus on customer analytics and marketing strategies. Your expertise in SQL and Python allows you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively, driving actionable insights that enhance customer engagement. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and software engineers, to develop scalable analytics solutions that meet customer needs.

You possess a deep understanding of marketing channels and customer behavior, enabling you to design and conduct experiments that measure the effectiveness of various marketing actions. Your analytical mindset and attention to detail help you identify trends and patterns that inform long-term strategies for customer engagement and retention. You are proficient in using data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI to present your findings in a clear and impactful manner.

What you'll do

In this role, you will join the Prime & Marketing Analytics and Science (PRIMAS) team at Amazon, where your work will directly impact millions of customers. You will analyze customer segments, affinities, and lifetime value to inform marketing strategies across various channels, including SEM/SEO, social media, and email. Your responsibilities will include generating insights from data, designing and measuring experiments, and collaborating with teams to implement data-driven solutions that enhance the customer shopping experience.

You will leverage advanced analytical techniques and the latest data science tools to study customer purchase and engagement behaviors. Your insights will help increase customer engagement and improve marketing efficiency, ultimately driving sales growth. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining automated large-scale analytics systems that support the team's objectives.
