Who you are

You have extensive experience as a Senior Database Migration Architect, working closely with customers and partners to guide them through planning and executing complex transformation and migration projects. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives allows you to effectively shape their cloud migration and transformation roadmap. You are skilled in assessing organizational readiness for cloud adoption and guiding stakeholders to define their goals, objectives, and desired business outcomes.

Your expertise in identifying solutions enables you to help customers, partners, or internal teams overcome both technical and organizational challenges. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside Subject Matter Experts to support pre-sales activities and ensure successful project delivery. You have a proven track record of delivering IT solutions in agile environments, effectively managing all phases of the project lifecycle to achieve successful outcomes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will employ your customer-facing skills to represent AWS effectively within the customer’s environment. You will drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management, and risk mitigation. Collaborating closely with AWS Platform Service Engineering and Architecture teams, you will help ensure the success of projects by aligning technical solutions with customer needs. Your role will involve assessing customer requirements, defining cloud visions, and creating actionable roadmaps to achieve desired results.

You will be responsible for guiding customers through the complexities of cloud migration, ensuring they are well-prepared for the transition. This includes conducting readiness assessments, facilitating workshops, and providing ongoing support throughout the migration process. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels will be crucial in driving successful outcomes and fostering long-term partnerships.
