You have a basic understanding of operations and networking, which will help you in supporting AWS services. Your ability to analyze metrics and dashboards will be crucial in identifying areas for improvement. You are comfortable participating in on-call rotations and are prepared to troubleshoot high-severity issues as they arise. Your attention to detail will ensure that you create and maintain accurate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and runbooks for documentation.
What you'll do
As a Graduate DevOps Engineer at Amazon, you will support the AWS Utility Computing (UC) organization by assisting in the development and management of various AWS services, including Compute, Database, and Storage. You will work proactively to identify potential problems and inefficiencies, collaborating with your team to deliver results with minimal supervision. Your role will involve troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, as well as implementing solutions that enhance service support.
You will analyze dashboards and investigate metrics to drive improvements in service delivery. Your contributions will help automate and simplify daily operations, ultimately enhancing the customer experience. You will be part of a team that is dedicated to providing specialized security solutions for cloud services, ensuring that our customers can operate securely and efficiently.
