Who you are

You have a strong background in electrical engineering with experience in designing and developing both analog and digital circuits for consumer electronics. Your expertise includes creating and reviewing schematics and PCB layouts, as well as developing power management solutions and power distribution networks. You understand the importance of EMI/EMC compliance and have conducted pre-compliance testing to ensure product reliability. You are skilled in implementing high-speed digital interfaces and ensuring signal integrity, which is crucial for the performance of electronic devices.

You have a proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical issues, demonstrating your analytical skills and attention to detail. Your ability to collaborate effectively with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams allows you to deliver innovative hardware solutions that meet customer needs. You are also experienced in documenting designs, test results, and technical specifications, ensuring that all project stakeholders are aligned.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead electrical hardware development projects from concept through production, guiding your team to deliver high-quality products. You will design and develop electrical systems for Ring devices, focusing on creating innovative solutions that delight customers. Your responsibilities will include developing electrical test plans and validation procedures to ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards.

You will manage relationships with external vendors and manufacturing partners, ensuring that all components meet the required specifications. Your role will also involve applying AI tools and techniques to optimize electrical designs and processes, collaborating with data scientists to develop AI-driven solutions for engineering challenges.
