Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in electro-mechanical systems, with experience in preventative maintenance and repairs on various equipment. Your understanding of PLC systems is solid, and you can read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints and electrical diagrams to diagnose and repair issues effectively.
You are skilled in operating, testing, and maintaining robotic equipment, and you respond promptly to unplanned maintenance requests. Your troubleshooting skills allow you to identify potential problems and failures, ensuring that equipment operates smoothly and efficiently.
You have a basic understanding of pneumatic assemblies and can test and repair them as needed. Your knowledge of mechatronic systems enables you to analyze technical specifications and coordinate maintenance efforts with other technicians.
You are proactive in performing scheduled, predictive, and preventive maintenance to detect and prevent problems before they arise. Your ability to incorporate relevant technical literature into your understanding of system operations enhances your effectiveness in this role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be the main point of contact for equipment maintenance in the solar array production area. You will operate, test, and maintain robotic equipment, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. When unplanned maintenance requests arise, you will respond quickly to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
You will read and analyze technical documents to diagnose and repair electrical issues, utilizing your knowledge of PLC systems to troubleshoot effectively. Your responsibilities will also include testing and repairing pneumatic assemblies, ensuring that all components are in good working order.
You will perform scheduled maintenance tasks, as well as predictive and preventive maintenance, to identify potential issues before they become significant problems. Your systematic approach to repairs will help maintain the reliability of the equipment and support the overall mission of Amazon Leo.
Collaboration with other technicians will be essential, as you will coordinate efforts to install or maintain equipment and components. You will also be expected to stay updated on the latest technical literature relevant to your work, enhancing your understanding of system operations and maintenance best practices.
