Emulation Engineer • Mid-Level

Who you are

You have a strong background in hardware design and optimization, with experience in emulation platforms and system validation flows. Your proficiency in C, C++, and Python allows you to develop scalable compile flows that meet project requirements. You are familiar with end-to-end emulation compilation flows, including both front-end and back-end synthesis, and have experience using emulation tool chains such as Zebu, Cadence, or Veloce.

You possess a deep understanding of System Verilog and have developed modules for integrating with standard xtors. Your experience in runtime architecture enables you to ensure that emulation models are functionally correct and performant. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with various teams to determine emulation platform requirements and automate workflows.

What you'll do

As an Emulation Engineer at Amazon, you will be responsible for designing emulation capabilities that facilitate system validation flows. You will develop a state-of-the-art testbench and integrate ViP components into the SoC, ensuring high-quality design delivery to customers. Your role will involve continuous improvement of emulation models, raising the bar for performance and correctness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet the needs of our cloud-scale machine learning acceleration initiatives.
