Who you are
You are a motivated individual with a strong interest in engineering operations, particularly in the context of data centers. You demonstrate initiative and proactively seek solutions to complex problems, ensuring the highest standards of safety and security in your work environment. You thrive in a collaborative setting, working alongside software, hardware, and network engineers, as well as supply chain specialists and operations managers.
You possess a foundational understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, which allows you to effectively oversee facility operations and maintenance tasks. Your attention to detail ensures that all safety procedures are implemented and followed, contributing to the overall success of the AWS infrastructure.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of AWS Data Centers' mechanical and electrical infrastructure. You will collaborate with various teams to deliver the highest standards of safety and security while maintaining operational efficiency. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally to support AWS services.
You will also oversee facility operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and best practices.
