Engineering Technician • Entry-Level

Who you are

You are an entry-level Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems. You have hands-on experience troubleshooting complex equipment and are eager to learn about data center operations. Your attention to detail ensures that you maintain high standards of uptime and reliability in mission-critical environments.

You possess a basic understanding of electrical systems, including three-phase electrical systems, UPSs, and generators. You are comfortable working with various mechanical systems such as chillers, cooling towers, and pumps. Your ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of engineers and specialists is one of your key strengths.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting AWS data center operations. You will work directly with electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. Your day-to-day tasks will include performing routine inspections, conducting preventive maintenance, and responding to equipment failures.

You will collaborate with other technicians and engineers to address any operational issues that arise, contributing to the overall efficiency of the data center. Your role is critical in supporting the infrastructure that powers global digital experiences, and you will play a key part in achieving the company's uptime goals.
