What you'll do
As an Engineering Operations Technician at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the heartbeat of our data centers. You will be responsible for operating and troubleshooting various systems, including stand-by diesel generators, three-phase electrical systems, and cooling equipment. Your expertise will directly contribute to achieving our goal of 99.999% uptime, ensuring that our global digital experiences remain uninterrupted. You will work closely with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, collaborating to solve challenges that impact our supply chain and infrastructure. Your hands-on approach will involve regular maintenance checks, system diagnostics, and repairs to ensure all equipment operates at peak performance. You will also participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for optimization and efficiency within our operations.
